Hair is a WebGL experiment crafted by Edan Kwan at Kuva. It intensively uses GPGPU for most of the physics calculation. For the stage, they pre-baked 3 light sources separately onto a PNG with RGB channels which allowed them to dynamically adjust the lighting and intensity in real-time. For the hair, they used neighbor distance and root normal as constraints and ran the calculation through GPGPU.
