Solar System Explorer

This is a WebGL implementation of an orrery - a model of the solar system showing the positions of the planets and the sun and moon on any date and time. It's based on data from NASA JPL, and models of elliptical orbital motion. The mouse is used to change perspective and zoom. The orrery can be switched between schematic and to-scale modes, and when to-scale you can zoom between the inner and outer planets.
