Interact with the Celestial Globe in Augmented Reality

To mark the British Library’s blockbuster, sold-out exhibition, Harry Potter: A History of Magic, the Google Arts & Culture Lab created an Augmented Reality experience of a 400 year old celestial globe that is too fragile to be touched or moved. The globe can be viewed and spinned using interactive AR technology, and users can explore the constellations on the globe that inspired the names of great witches and wizards in Harry Potter.

You can explore the exhibition here.

The AR experience was available at the British Library during the exhibition.
