The Searching Planet is a project co-created by Google and Miraikan (National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Japan) that lets you see the world through the lens of “Internet search.” By looking at Google Trends data, we get a sense of what people around the world are interested in.
On the website, you can rotate or zoom in and out of the globe as it plays a story about global search trends. VR content is also available on mobile where you can experience your "search trip" by flying over the 360° world, controlling flight with your head movement (DeviceOrientation).
